The Eugen Konovalets Charity and Support Foundation was established in Lithuania in 2018, continuing its work to support Ukraine that began in 2016. Today, the Foundation brings together people and initiatives to support Ukraine, strengthen ties between Lithuania and Ukraine, and promote the values of freedom, solidarity and civic responsibility.
The Foundation was established by Viktor Černyšuk, Raimondas Kaminskas and Arūnas Surdokas.
The Foundation aims to bring people together through meaningful initiatives and charitable projects that address specific humanitarian and social challenges. Rather than focusing solely on one-off assistance, the Foundation seeks effective, long-term solutions and works with organisations and civic communities in Lithuania and Ukraine.
Supporting Ukraine and its people has been a key priority since the very beginning. In the face of Russia’s war against Ukraine, particular attention is given to providing direct assistance to Ukrainian defenders – sourcing, purchasing, repairing, preparing and delivering much-needed vehicles.

To strengthen ties between Lithuania and Ukraine by encouraging cooperation, mutual support and joint civic initiatives between the people of both countries.
Support for Ukraine
To support Ukraine and its people by providing targeted assistance to Ukrainian defenders and those affected by the war, based on their specific needs.
Historical Memory
To preserve historical memory, raise awareness of Eugen Konovalets and the history of cooperation between Lithuania and Ukraine, and encourage interest in the history and shared experiences of both countries.
Democratic Values
To uphold democratic values and human rights by supporting initiatives that strengthen freedom, civil society and human rights in Lithuania, Ukraine, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Community Engagement
To bring people together for meaningful action by encouraging individuals, organisations and communities to contribute to charitable, humanitarian and other socially important initiatives.
EUGEN KONOVALETS
The Foundation was named after Eugen Konovalets for a reason. His life and work connect Ukraine’s aspirations for independence with Lithuania, a country with which he maintained close ties.
Bearing his name, the Foundation continues this historical bond between Lithuania and Ukraine through its work today – mobilising support for Ukraine, strengthening relations between the two countries and promoting civic responsibility.
